Health and Safety Plans for Construction Sites and Projects

The Health and Safety Plan is a document drawn up for each site, taking into account the risks that may be present during construction and for the people involved, considering the type of work to be carried out, the location, among other factors.
It is intended for all workers on the site, whether they are directly employed by the builder, subcontractors, self-employed workers, or even visitors, the owners of the works and the technicians involved.
This Plan is compulsory on almost all construction sites, except in cases where they are very simple, quick and don’t involve any special risks. Only a technician can know whether or not a particular project is exempt from having this plan drawn up, and if it is, that duly qualified technician can request exemption from having to submit the plan. In fact, this Health and Safety Plan is one of the elements required by local councils to issue a building licence.

Likewise, this Plan must always be available on site for consultation if necessary, and it must be presented in the event of an inspection by the Labour Conditions Authority
The Health and Safety Plan brings together all the relevant health and safety information that reduces the risk of accidents at work and informs you of the steps to follow in the event of an accident.
